TO ANSWER AN INCOMING CALL

When Answer Key is Pressed

The first call to the Hotel/Motel console will be answered. 

When an ICI Key is Pressed

LDN
First outside call will be answered.

ADM
First call from an administrative station will be answered.

RECALL
Station transferred call will be answered.

TIE
First call from a tie line will be answered.

BUSY
Attendant answers a call directed to a station in the forward-busy mode.

NANS
Attendant answers a call directed to a station in the forward-no answer mode.

FX
First call from a foreign exchange is answered.

WATS
First call from a WATS trunk is answered.

CCSA
First call from a CCSA trunk is answered.

HP
First call from a house phone will be answered.

GST
First call from a guest room will be answered.

TF
A call from another hotel/motel console will be answered.

DND
First call directed to a station in the Do Not Disturb mode will be answered.

EMG
A call from a station activating an OffHook Alarm will be answered.

ICPT
attendant answers a call intended for an unassigned station

AUTO TRANSFER AN INCOMING CALL

Station is Idle

  • Press ANSWER or an Incoming Call Identification key.
  • Dial the desired station or guest room (room status information is displayed).
  • Press RELEASE. Station will ring with the calling party.

Station is Busy (Camp-On Call)

  • Press ANSWER or Incoming Call Identification key.
  • Dial the hear busy tone.
  • Press RELEASE.

Tone Sent to Called Party

Camp-On will be denied if the station has another call waiting.

    • Press CANCEL. Inform the calling party of the call status.
    • Press CANCEL. The outside party will be disconnected.
  • Attendant Screening
  • Press ANSWER or Incoming Call Identification key.
  • Dial the desired station or guest room.
  • Wait for the station to answer.
  • Inform the station of the call.

Called Station

Will Accept Call

  • Press RELEASE. The calling and called parties will be connected.

Will Not Accept Call

  • Press DEST.
  • Press CANCEL.
  • Inform the outside call.
  • Press CANCEL to disconnect.

TO ANSWER AUTOMATIC ATTENDANT RECALL

Call Hold

  • Press the associated LOOP.
  • Inform the outside party of the call status.

Party will Continue to Hold

  • Press HOLD; the party will remain on hold.

Party will Call Back

  • Press DEST.
  • Press CANCEL.
  • Press CANCEL; the outside party will be disconnected.

Ringing Station – No Answer

  • Press the associated LOOP, then inform the outside party of the call status.

Party will Wait for Answer

  • Press RELEASE. The outside party will be reconnected to ringing.

Party will Call Back

  • Press DEST.
  • Press CANCEL.
  • Press CANCEL. The outside party will be disconnected.

Party will Try a Different Station or Guest

  • Press DEST.
  • Press CANCEL.
  • Dial the desired station/guest.
  • Press RELEASE; the outside party will be connected to the new station.

Busy Station (Camp-On Recall)

  • Press the associated LOOP key, then inform the outside party of the call status.

Party will Continue to Wait

  • Press RELEASE. The outside party will be camped-on to the busy station.

Party will Call Back

  • Press DEST.
  • Press CANCEL.
  • Press CANCEL. The outside party will be disconnected.

Party will Try a Different Station

  • Press DEST.
  • Press CANCEL.
  • Dial the desired station/guest.
  • Press RELEASE. The outside party will be connected to the new station.

TO ORIGINATE A CALL

To Place an Outside Call

  • Press an idle LOOP.
  • Dial the outside access code (i.e. 9).
  • Dial the desired telephone number.

To Disconnect

  • Press CANCEL.

To Hold

  • Press HOLD.

To Transfer to a Guest or Station

  • Press START.
  • Dial the desired guest/station number.
  • Press RELEASE. The outside party will be connected to the ringing station.

TO RECORD A CALL

  • While conversing with the caller on a LOOP, press the REC button.
  • Press REC again to stop recording.
    • When the conversation is finished, press RELEASE to disconnect the caller.NOTE: The ability to record a call is an optional feature.CAUTION: The use of the Record feature to record a conversation can be illegal under certain circumstances. Seek legal advice before implementing any practice involving the monitoring or recording of a telephone conversation. Some federal and state laws require that the monitoring or recording party provide a tone, notify all parties in the conversation, and/or obtain the consent of all parties in the conversation. When recording a conversation using the Record feature, an alert tone prior to the start of recording may not be considered sufficient under applicable laws. These laws provide for strict penalties for the illegal monitoring or recording of telephone conversations.

TO CALL A GUEST ROOM OR ADMINISTRATIVE STATION

  • Press an idle LOOP.
  • Dial the desired guest/station.

To Disconnect

  • Press CANCEL. Attendant answers a call intended for an unassigned station.
